The aims and activities of the Center for Public Opinion Research are the long- and short term projects in public opinion research in order to increase the level of scientific research. This center is accessible to everybody and it has the right to make commercial projects.
The Center for Public Opinion Research consists of a young staff with respective scientific experiences.
In the past, this center realized some commercial projects and nowadays it is working on new scientific and commercial project proposals.
Political Barometer is the title of the latest project which has been realized.
This project aims to be the image and guide of the public opinion concerning actual politics in the country.
This project will be realized on a long term basis in cooperation with the Center for Public Opinion of the Faculty of Humanistic Studies of the University of Ljubljana - which is the most prestigious centers of its kind in Slovenia and one of the best known in Central Europe.
We will produce the political barometer every there months based on the methodology of the Center for Public Opinion Research of the University of Ljubljana. They are publishing political barometer surveys since 1968.
Our University concludes long term agreement with this Center to start common research projects in the field of public opinion research.
The first edition of the project was realized in a perfect methodological and transparent manner. In this way also the next editions of the project Political Barometer will be realized. The methodology of the project is based on the European standards.
Originally the project was realized by means of the face to face method and was elaborated in three stages. In the project were included all communities of the Kosova Territory.
The first stage of the project included the application and selection of the candidates as well as their training. In order to realize the first edition of the project experienced candidates mainly students from AAB University where chosen.
In the second step the results of the questionnaires realized at several locations were analyzed.
The third and last step for this edition is the publication of the results.
At the end of this project it is expected that the political structures will function much better and in an effective way as well as to increase the political awareness by insisting on the achievement of EU standards.
The Center for Public Opinion Research will continue its work by compiling new projects.
