COBISS
COBISS is a program that meets all the standards of modern libraries and comprises of
several modules:
1. Buying module – creates possibilities for everything that has been bought for the
library to be saved in the Library’s server and documents;
2. Magazine module – separates magazines and other material from the book when
book cataloguing is done and it makes it very easy for the users to identify the material;
3. Data saving module – is one of the most important modules because it saves all the
data, various downloading, data creation, their changing, creation of links in COBISS and
other opportunities;
4. Loan module – automatically includes user data in the program, allows the material
to be used externally and accepts the loaned material, etc.
5. Interlibrary loan – is a module that allows exchange with other libraries in the region.
6. Report module – issues library reports, on catalogues, library units and is important
for statistical matters;
7. Application Administration Module – allows administering of COBISS in University
Library.
