AAB-Riinvest University visited by Mr. Pieter Feith, Head of the International Civilian Office and Mr. Sadri Ferati, Minister of Local Government Administration who were panel participants at the debate on the process of decentralization organized by AAB – Riinvest University and ICO.

The inaugural address was done by the Rector of AAB – Riinvest University, Dr. Uros Lipuscek who thanked the invited guests for their coming. He said that the topic on what will be discussed today is a very important element not only for Kosova but for all democratic countries.Mr. Feith and M. Ferati discussed in detail about the process of decentralization by speaking about its approach and importance.

Mr. Feith said that the decentralization is a process which is focused on the citizens and aims a good governance, services and good living conditions for all the citizens of Kosova. “The Process of Decentralization is of special importance in building the state of Kosova” stressed Mr. Faith.On the other hand the Minister of Local Government Administration, Sadri Ferati said that the fighting for territories is over.He appealed to Belgrade and its extremist structures, so called by him, not to intend to disturb this process.

Like always after the discussion of the two invited guests the debate on the topic was opened, where the participants posed questions to the panelists.

After the debate Mr. Pieter Feith and Mr. Sadri Ferati visited the campus of AAB – Riinvest University.

Thus, AAB – Riinvest University continues its tradition to be a meeting point for handling different issues which are of vital importance for the future of Kosova.
